The Robinson family came all the way from Norwich to Crowborough to run the second ever Robinson's regatta

Unusually the wind appeared to be across the pond

A quick test sail before anyone else arrived to check where to set the course

Nicola organised the races

Thanks to Jeff, if you didn't have a suitable boat, you could borrow one

Richard's 18 inchers

Boats were classed by length

Some of the visiting 8 inch boats

Peter signals the start of a race

Favourite boat race was for all sizes

These look like 18 inch

The straight running challenge was for all sizes

18 tp 20 inch?

8 inch away!

There's a lot of bending down with this!

The taller the boat, the less bending!

Not unusual for a boat to be going the wrong way

8 inch is like herding cats
I have absolutely no idea who won!

Richard with plaque

Jean (two stickers) with John18 inch

Martin with medal

David with medal and the the largest boat on the day

Andy T

Peter B

Andrew E wins the 'all classes' final race

Gordon (a sticker) and Jean

Richard with medal

Jean a sticker

Gordon's High-tech craft was a winner

John won a cup

A result I do have.

Bill, straight running winner

Andy T, straight running runner up

Free sailing at lunch time

Good idea for yacht stands

Smallest boat there?
